  • Great escapism

    I've worked my way through all these to date and have to say enjoy them. In particular I like the main characters. Like lots of crime books this relies on coincidence but within the world she has created they aren't too far fetched. By no means is this highbrow literature but it is a good read; plenty happens; it is set in a fascinating period; and you can like the main characters. Great reading for a quiet night in.
